Today, a second group of guinea pigs have been removed from Essex. 32 boys and 13 girls. Crawley Guinea Pig Rescue have taken the boars and EPGPR have the sows. Apart from 2 boys with wounds/eye injuries this lot aren't as bad as the first groups.
One of the sows is the size of a dinner plate and looks fit to pop any moment and one little baby a week or two old. Apart from 2 boys with wounds/eye injuries this lot aren't as bad as the first groups. The pregnant sows hair is thin and under her huge tummy she is quite boney. She and the little bub are now settled indoors, the other girls are snuggled up in mountains of hay.

Clemmy came in with the 2nd group of guinea pigs from the Hornchurch Rescue. She was absolutely HUGE and delivered 5 babies in the early hours of this morning. Sadly 2 didn't make it All the babies were around the 100g mark, so poor Clemmy was carrying 500g of babies!
