We've had a tiny little scrap handed in today. This dot of a hammy (she's only a few cm in length! ). She has been left with a lady by her friend as she had moved and couldn't /wouldn't take hammy with her and the friend didn't want her either. The cage is very small, the shavings were sodden and smelt awful, there were no toys, wheel or soft bedding and she had just dug a hole in the wet shavings and she has no name : (
Little one is now called 'Diddy' (allegedly a 9 month old girl) cage has been cleaned out, she's got Megazorb and shredded tissue for bedding, a new house, ladder and some tunnels. Best news is she has a viewing tomorrow and if all goes well she will be off to a loving home with a lovely house upgrade to boot.
